About This Point of Interest
The Murin Gardens, located on the north side of the Library, were established with funds from the Judith Murin Foundation. In the early 80s, University Horticulturalist Mike Norman designed the gardens, selected the plant material and orchestrated the construction of the gardens. More than 250 varieties of perennial plants, along with several unique varieties of deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs, thrive in the garden. This pattern of planting set the stage for the plantings in the 28 beds in Risman Plaza.

Parking
Information

Visitors may park at meters located in most parking areas, in the Student Center visitor lot, or by obtaining a $2, “one-day” permit from Parking Services. Rates are posted at each meter and at the Student Center lot. Also, most departments offer “one-day” permits to visitors.
