About This Point of Interest
The Victory Bell was donated by the Erie Railroad and placed on the Commons by Taylor Hall in 1950 at the request of President George A. Bowman. The structure that houses the bell was designed by architecture student Arvid Johnson and paid for with funds raised by Alpha Phi Omega.

Parking
Information

Visitors may park at meters located in most parking areas, in the Student Center visitor lot, or by obtaining a $2, “one-day” permit from Parking Services. Rates are posted at each meter and at the Student Center lot. Also, most departments offer “one-day” permits to visitors.
